A Council Bluffs man was charged with attempted murder Tuesday after randomly shooting at an occupied vehicle, according to the Council Bluffs Police Department.
Around 7:30 a.m., Michael Kuder, 26, fired several shots at an occupied vehicle at an apartment complex in the 2000 block of Sherwood Court in Council Bluffs, police said. He then threatened to shoot another person before that person left the area in their vehicle, police said.
Both people were approached by Kuder at random and did not know him personally, police said.
Officers found Kuder lying in a creek bed near the complex. Kuder was charged with attempted murder and first-degree harassment. He was transported to a Council Bluffs hospital for an evaluation. If he is released from the hospital, he will be transported to the Pottawattamie County Jail.
